Degree and teacher education pathways.

Agarsen Degree College offers general degree and integrated teacher education programmes for students planning academic, teaching, competitive-exam, and higher-study pathways.

Eligibility

B.A., B.Sc., B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed.

B.A. requires Class 12 in any stream. B.Sc. requires Class 12 Science with PCB or PCM. B.A.B.Ed. and B.Sc.B.Ed. require Class 12 with PTET or the applicable teacher-education entrance process as notified.

Degree programmes are affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU), Bikaner. Teacher education programmes follow National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi norms.

Job prospects

Teaching, administration, and exams

Students can prepare for teaching careers, school education roles after required qualifications, office administration, social sector work, coaching, content development, and government/competitive examinations.

Higher education

Postgraduate and professional courses

After B.A. or B.Sc., students may pursue M.A., M.Sc., B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA, law, social work, library science, or competitive-exam preparation. Integrated education graduates may continue toward M.Ed. or postgraduate study.

B.A.B.Ed. and B.Sc.B.Ed. are each offered with 1 unit of 50 seats annually. Transition to ITEP is under process as per NCTE guidelines.

Annual intake: 50 seats, 1 unit.

ITEP Transition

The transition to ITEP is under process and will be updated as per applicable NCTE guidelines and approvals. The state government NOCs for B.A. and B.Sc. support the college's multidisciplinary eligibility for the proposed ITEP course.
